Telling and Measuring Time

I am learning to read and tell the time in 5-minute intervals to the hour on analogue clocks.
I was able to convert time between analog and digital clocks.
I found this tricky because under stand 24 hours.
My next step is to calculate elapsed time and say how much time has passed.

DASH? paragraph

Reflection.
I am learning to write a paragraph with a DASH?
I was able to write a sentence for each letter of DASH.
I found it tricky because  you have to think of a sentence.
Next time I want to make my sentence's  better.

Nobody laughed

I am learning to actively seek to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary.
I was able to explore the structure and features of a narrative text.
I found this I use a dictionary to look up and record the meaning of the new.
My next step is to identify the features of a narrative text.

My Speech

Reflection
I am learning to my speech.
I was able to participating to talk in the classroom.
It was hard because you have to participate in the classroom and to think about what i am the one who look for a sentences for my speech.
Next time i am gonna think of a new sentences for  my speech.

                Reflection I was learning to count numbers of edges/numbers of faces and numbers of vertices. I found this tricky because of the numbers of vertices and numbers of edges. Next time i am learning at my numbers of vertices.

Authors Purpose

I am learning to do a author purpose.
I was able to describe the thoughts, feelings and actions in the story and link it to the author's purpose.
I found this tricky because to explain the point.
Next time i will do the link part bye myself. 

Pest Free Zone

We are learning about pest free classroom.
We did a poster having no pest in our classroom.
We was helping each other that's why its easy to get idea's.
Next time I will try my best of thinking idea's about my reflections so i can finish quickly and do my other tasks.

Summarising a fiction text

I am learning to understand a text as i read it,gather information on the plot,character,theme,tone,style and narrator.

I was able to  be a good reader and writer and finish this quickly.

I found this easy because i was paying attention to the teacher.

My next step is to I can justify and explain the main idea with examples from the text to support my thinking.

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2019. This year I am in Room 25. My teacher is Miss D'Souza. I enjoy when I am playing with my friends. This year my goal is to get better at maths. I am looking forward to reading.
